Write for money

Write for moneyThings are going really well here at the shared log project, and we are growing steadily. We have more articles being posted than ever before, and whilst overall the amount of writers we have hasn’t actually grown what with people moving on to bigger and better things after earning a good reference from us, we are spending more than we ever have before on articles. This means that the writers we do have are now earning a good amount of money, and the amount they are producing per head has increased.

We’ve recently expanded our range of articles as well. We recently had a commission in to do some content writing, not very much but a little. As this was page specific, the writers earned well out of it and the copy was actually used on a landing page for a female hair loss page which you can see here. It is good work, and unusual for us as we are focused on low level publishing. Following the success of that we went on to provide copy for their cyst removal UK page and even one line of text for their cosmetic surgery UK page which actually sites on their homepage. One line of text doesn’t seem like much but as a percentage of what is on the page it is actually quite good.

For the writers here at the shared log project, this doesn’t change the day to day workings of this project. We still pay per article, and the variations of the subjects still remain – if anything we are adding more as time goes on. The only thing this means that if this grows, there may be potential for specifically commissioned work as and when it comes up.
