From an early age, I always knew that I wanted to be a writer. I was always carrying around my loose-leaf notebook and delving into the world of my imagination. I was always a very quiet and reserved girl. I would often shy away from social invitations so that I could socialise with the characters within my imagination. So, writing articles for companies to a criteria or ’spec’- what’s the scoop? How’s it done? What makes a good article? How long should it be? What are the core skills to being a successful and efficient writer? In my experience it comes down to three basic criteria;

• a) understanding what is being asked of you and what the company/webmaster wants.
• b) your knowledge of the subject.
• c) your ability to write quickly and without hesitation.
