To Bodly Go Where So Many Have Gone Before…
I love to travel, I think if I was to think of all the things I like to do the most in the world, Travel would be my number one. Going on a 14 day trip to a single location or resort is not what I am talking about, nor am I talking about a weekend away in a romantic city of some description. I am talking about true travel. That is, travelling for a few weeks to a few months, visiting many different countries and cultures.
There is a certain amount of planning that goes in to such a holiday, but its best to leave the planning to a minimum. Decide on the go where you will end up and which countries you will go to. The rush you get from not knowing where you are going or where you will end up is amazing.
It adds spice, variety and excitement to the holiday that could feel a bit stale if every part of it was planned out. If you like somewhere, stay a few extra days, if you don’t like it, just jump on a train and leave. The freedom one experiences on a holiday like this is unparalleled in any other aspect of life.
Getting the money before you leave is probably the hardest thing to do. These holidays can be very expensive, but with a bit of research beforehand you can save plenty of money. Also, the experience is worth all the money in the world so you know whatever you spend will be worth it in the end.
If you so wished it, and you were going travelling for a long time, you could find a job in the various different places to pay for other segments of your trip. This is something a lot of people do and is an effective way to stay on top of your finances whilst exploring the world. I’m actually getting excited about travelling just be writing this article, so please, do yourself a favour and go on the adventure of a lifetime as soon as you can! Speaking of which, the Ski chalet holidays booking is officially looked after, I am really excited about our long weekend trip. I need part of the overall cost by early next week.
